When it comes to highlighters, there was a time when Avon was swimming in options for ways to add glow to your face. But as trends have shifted around, there haven’t been as many launches of them in the past few years. That’s why I was a surprised and delighted to see the announcement for this new gel cream highlighter, which at this moment is the only Avon highlighter in the catalog.
Not only is it refreshing to see a new offering for glowy makeup lovers, but this new launch also has an interesting and unusual set of shades that I was super intrigued by. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them! Let’s dive in and get the full scoop.
What is Go. by Glimmer LumiCloud Illuminator?
Go. by Glimmer LumiCloud Illuminator is a vegan highlighter product by Avon launching on July 15, 2026. Designed to add a dewy glow to your makeup looks, this highlighter is a gel cream format, and is advertised with a “luminous” finish.
Formulated with a soothing pomegranate extract, it is designed to be lightweight and very blendable. It is talc-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, and phthalate-free.
What makes it different?
Currently, LumiCloud Illuminator is the only dedicated highlighter in the Avon catalog, although there are some other face makeup items that have a bit of glow to them, for example the Match Tint Radiant Tinted Moisturizer.
One big difference between these is the hue of the products, with Match Tint having a more neutral, skin-toned glow. When it comes to hue, LumiCloud is a bit unique even compared to Avon highlighters of the past, carrying a more gold-toned color palette.
