Discovering the new Avon cream concealer with skincare-enhanced coverage

Have you been missing the Avon cream concealers of years past? Although there have been several great and creative options in the catalog for blemish concealing, I must admit that having a simple cream option has been a bit of a void lately. For some folks, it’s the consistency that really works best!

Well, your wait is over, because the new Cashmere Cream Concealer is officially here! Rumor has it that it’s the most luxurious item of its kind yet from Avon – but is it really so? Let’s find out together!

What is Cashmere Cream Concealer?

fmg Cashmere Cream Concealer is a cream-based concealer product from Avon that launched on February 14, 2024. Offering a beautiful matte finish, this concealer is designed to conceal imperfections such as acne, dark circles, or uneven skin tone.

It is formulated with skin nourishing hyaluronic acid and collagen, which altogether add a skincare edge to the product.

What makes it different?

Although this certainly isn’t Avon’s first cream-based concealer ever, it is the first one in a long while. The thicker, creamy consistency will help folks who are looking for much more coverage compared to a liquid concealer like Cashmere 24HR Concealer

What both of Avon’s current concealers have in common is that they have added skincare benefits to nourish the skin. For this new cream formula, that includes hyaluronic acid and collagen. If you’re not familiar with these, hyaluronic acid is a hydrating ingredient that helps your skin retain moisture, while collagen can smooth and moisturize the skin.

Shades

Cashmere Cream Concealer is available in 5 shades including Fair Neutral, Light Cool, Medium Neutral, Medium Tan Warm, and Tan Neutral.

What happened when I tried it?

My experience with Cashmere Cream Concealer was pretty smooth – literally! I found the cream consistency to be easier to work with compared to the Cashmere Liquid Concealer. It glided on and blended very smoothly, and did a good job covering up discolorations.

The only thing I think could be improved is the shade range. Although the level of lightness/darkness in each shade is pretty flexible, the undertones of each shade are very much set in stone. I wish that each shade level was offered in warm, neutral, and cool.

Still, I think people will get great use out of this concealer. You can also apply it under your foundation instead of over it for a little more shade flexibility.

Well, what do you think? Are you excited for this new Avon cream concealer? Let us know in the comments!
