If you follow the blog, you might remember when I first tried out Avon’s Love Lip Butter back in 2023. Since then, it’s been one of my go-to lip color products, worn almost daily. So, when I saw that Avon was launching this new addition to the collection, I’ve never put something in my cart faster.
You might be wondering, though, what exactly makes this version different? Well, I tried it out so I could give you the scoop. Let’s dive in!
What is Love Lip Butter Crème?
fmg Love Lip Butter Crème is a creamy, glossy lip butter product launching on July 30, 2025. This lip balm is an extension of Avon’s Love Lip Butter collection, which first launched back in August of 2023.
This new Lip Butter Crème is advertised as having more color and shine than the previous lip butter, and has a creamy, weightless feel. The formula includes nourishing ingredients such as jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, apricot oil, olive oil, evening primrose oil, shea butter, and mango fruit extract. It is paraben-free, sulfate-free, phthalate-free, and gluten-free.
What makes it different?
If you’ve tried the original Love Lip Butter before, you might be wondering what exactly is different about this new version, besides the new shades.
To start with, Lip Butter Crème features a different blend of nourishing ingredients. While the original features Cupuaçu Seed Butter, apricot kernal oil, olive oil, and mango fruit extract, Crème features a more extensive oil blend that also includes jojoba, sweet almond, and evening primrose. It also utilizes Shea Butter instead of the Cupuaçu Seed Butter.
In addition, this new version is made to be more pigmented compared to original version.
