Have you been intrigued by the trend of color-changing makeup products? I must admit, I’ve been fascinated but skeptical about the whole concept. So, when I saw that Avon was launching this color changing lip balm, I was excited to get the chance to see what it’s all about!
What’s more, this new balm is launching as part of a lip care collection that I already utilize in my makeup routine. So what’s the deal? I tried it out to give you the full scoop! Let’s dive in.
What is Lipcerin Color Shift?
Beyond Glow Lipcerin Color Shift Tinted Lip Care is a color-changing tinted lip balm by Avon launching on July 2, 2025.
This lip balm provides a personalized shade based on the pH of your lips, with a finish that’s described as “glistening”.
It is formulated with glycerin, ceramides, peptides, shea butter, and superfruit extracts for nourishing benefits such as moisturizing, plumping, smoothing, and antioxidant.
What makes it different?
If you follow the blog, you know that Avon released their Beyond Glow Tinted Lip Balm collection back in October. Since then, it’s become a real staple in my makeup routine, as the nourishing aspects really help prep my lips.
The main thing that makes Lipcerin Color Shift different is the special color-changing formula. Because folks may have slightly different pH levels on their lips, these shades may look different on everyone, complementing each person’s face.
What are the shades?
Beyond Glow Lipcerin Color Shift Tinted Lip Care is available in 2 color-changing shades including Day Shift, and Night Shift.
Day Shift is meant to create a warm pink shade on the lips, while Night Shift is meant to create a cool pink shade.
