That’s why I was so excited when I saw that Avon was coming out with a new lip oil product. I simply had to test it out for myself. So, what’s the verdict? I tried all three shades to give you an inside look. Let’s jump in!
What is Love Plush Lip Oil?
fmg Love Plush Lip Oil is a glossy lip oil product by Avon that launched on Sept 24, 2025. Designed to moisturize the lips and make them feel soft, Love Plush also offers a sheer layer of color or shimmer.
This lip oil is formulated with a few key ingredients including Jojoba seed oil, Argan oil, Camellia seed oil, and vitamin E. It’s advertised as paraben-free and talc-free.
What makes it different?
These days, Avon has no shortage of lip nourishing products in the catalog. So what makes Love Plush Lip Oil different? To start with, most of Avon’s other lip care products are lip balms, made with a thicker balm or cream-like texture. This lip oil has a thinner, liquid-like texture that gets applied with an applicator similar to a lip gloss.
In addition, the appearance of this lip oil has a bit of glam to it, with a gloss-like finish and a shimmer included in some of the shades. However, compared to the similar GO. by Glimmer Laquered Lip Gel, Love Plush has a sheer color payoff.
What are the shades?
Love Plush Lip Oil is available in 3 shades including First Toast, Bachelorette, and Love Galore.
First Toast has no base color, but offers a delicate shimmer and glossy finish. Bachelorette offers a sheer pink color with a heavier shimmer. Love Galore has no shimmer, but changes color depending on the pH of your lips for a shade that is more unique to you.
