When it comes to blush, Avon has no shortage of options in the catalog! However, with the rise in cream and liquid blushes, there has been less of a focus on having a robust shade range for powder blush. That’s why it was exciting to see the announcement for a new dual purpose powder makeup item that works for both the cheeks and the eyelids. I knew immediately it would be interesting to explore the various shades, as it’s not often that eye and cheek products utilize the same types of colors. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!
So whats the deal? Is this new Cheek & Eye Shadow a feat of innovation, or a misguided attempt to create something new? There was only on way to find out. Let’s take a look!
What is the GO. by Glimmer Cheek & Eye Shadow?
Avon’s GO. by Glimmer Cheek & Eye Shadow is a dual purpose blush and eyeshadow product launching on Jan 14, 2026.
Made as a lightweight compact powder, this product features a mixture of soft matte and fine pearly finishes. It is advertised as paraben-free, sulfate-free, and phthalate-free.
What makes it different?
So, what sets the Cheek & Eye Shadow apart from Avon’s other blush and eyeshadow products?
Although Avon has a number of blush products available in the catalog at the moment, this new product is one of two blushes that are powder-based. In comparison to the other powder blush, GO. by Glimmer Cheek & Eye Shadow has a wider shade range, so there are more options for different skin tones.
As an eyeshadow, this product is different in that they are single shades as opposed to quads or full shade palettes. Glimmershadow, the only other choice with single shades, is liquid-based, and features a much different finish. Cheek & Eye Shadow has a more matte or matte-adjacent finish.
